Lakum Program
Lakum is a loyalty program available in participating Dr. Sulaiman Al Habib Pharmacies in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. These terms and conditions relate to the membership, earning, redeeming and rules of Dr. Sulaiman Al Habib Pharmacies Lakum loyalty program.
Terms and Conditions Acceptance
The use of the Dr. Sulaiman Al Habib Pharmacies Lakum loyalty program signifies the unconditional acceptance of the following terms and conditions that the subscriber acknowledges having read and accepted at the time of Lakum loyalty program’s registration.
Membership
- You can join Lakum program free of charge for life via Dr. Sulaiman Al Habib Pharmacies smart mobile application, Dr. Sulaiman Al Habib pharmacies website or using Dr. Sulaiman Al Habib Pharmacies in-store digital enrolment for any person who is 18 years of age and above.
- You must own a valid and verified KSA mobile number to become a Lakum program member.
- To activate the account of the Lakum membership, you must confirm the mobile number first. The activation will be done by inserting the activation code sent to the registered mobile number. The membership account can be used immediately after its activation.
- We may require you to update your membership details and preferences to ensure that we are communicating the tips and/or offers suitable for you.
- The Lakum program membership cannot be used for any purposes other than those provided for in these terms and conditions. The Lakum program may not be transferred or used by anyone other than its subscriber, for any reason.
Earning Points
- The Lakum program from Dr. Sulaiman Al Habib Pharmacies allows its members to earn points: (2) points for every one hundred Saudi Riyals spent excluding taxes when making purchases of qualifying products at participating Dr. Sulaiman Al Habib Pharmacies in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The value of each collected point in the membership balance equals half a Saudi Riyal. Dr. Sulaiman Al Habib Pharmacies have the right to amend the number of points earned for spent money and the value of each collected point at any time without prior notice.
- In order to collect points, the membership number must be provided to the checkout service desk before payment or if the customer is using Dr. Sulaiman Al Habib Pharmacies smart mobile application or Dr. Sulaiman Al Habib Pharmacies website, the membership account number must be entered once for all the purchases.
- Members cannot earn points when purchasing non-qualifying products.
- Points can be collected on all qualified items purchased from the participating Dr. Sulaiman Al Habib Pharmacies.
- Points can be collected on insurance transactions from any participating Dr. Sulaiman Al Habib Pharmacies.
- You can claim transaction points that have not been added to your membership account within one week from the transaction date using the transaction receipt.
- Points cannot be collected on transactions paid for using vouchers.
- Points cannot be collected on redeemed points with transactions paid for in full or partially using redemptions of Lakum points.
Redeeming Points
- To redeem points, your Lakum membership must be activated.
- Once you reach 10 Points, you will be eligible for redemption after the expiry of the refund period of the purchased products. Minimum redemption value is 5 SAR.
- To redeem membership points, the membership ownership will be verified during point’s redemption by requesting a one-time password that will be sent to the registered mobile number in the membership or Dr. Sulaiman Al Habib Pharmacies mobile application or Dr. Sulaiman Al Habib Pharmacies website.
- Dr. Sulaiman Al Habib Pharmacies have the right to amend or deactivate the minimum limit feature of points redemption at any time without prior notice.
- The earned points are non-refundable, cannot be exchanged for cash and no change will be provided. Each earned point is linked to the membership which has earned it and cannot be used by another loyalty membership.
Data Protection
- We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which outlines the purposes, legal basis, and methods of data collection, usage, storage, and sharing and is available at (Privacy policy). By agreeing to these Terms and Conditions, you are also agreeing to the terms of the Privacy Policy and you undertake to review those terms, as such may be amended from time to time.
- Members, unless otherwise stated, by applying for membership of Lakum program accept and explicitly authorize Dr. Sulaiman Al Habib Pharmacies to submit the information provided by the member to authorised Dr. Sulaiman Al Habib Pharmacies Partners or accepted third parties for marketing or information purposes.
Membership account information
Once the registration is complete, the Lakum program member can access their membership account information:
- At participating Dr. Sulaiman Al Habib Pharmacies or the customer service desk or by the Lakum program account at Dr. Sulaiman Al Habib Pharmacies smart mobile application or Dr. Sulaiman Al Habib Pharmacies website, in which information points balance, points earned, points redeemed and personal details given at the time of registration will be available.
- The Lakum program member can modify their mobile phone number anytime via participating Dr. Sulaiman Al Habib Pharmacies customer service desk or via Dr. Sulaiman Al Habib Pharmacies mobile application or Dr. Sulaiman Al Habib Pharmacies website.
Item Refund
In case of an item being refunded, the points earned thanks to this item will be deducted from your Lakum account. Return will not be accepted unless customer provides the original invoice.
Points Expiry
- Earned points on active memberships are valid until the date March 31st of the following year of the year which the points were earned.
- If the Lakum loyalty Program is not used (no Lakum points have been collected or redeemed) during a continuous period of 12 months, any accumulated points in the account will be deemed expired without the need of prior notice to the member.
Loss, Theft, Fraud
- The member is responsible for any loss, theft or fraud of their Lakum membership account when used by any person and must immediately inform Dr. Sulaiman Al Habib Pharmacies once this occurs.
- In case there is a loss, theft or fraud of Lakum membership account, the member can request to deactivate their Lakum membership account
- Dr. Sulaiman Al Habib Pharmacies does not bear any responsibility during the period between the loss, theft or fraud and the declaration of the loss, theft or damage by the member.
Termination of the Membership
- Non-compliance to these terms and conditions, misusing membership benefits or providing false information will result in termination of the membership.
- The Lakum loyalty Program is the property of Dr. Sulaiman Al Habib Pharmacies. Membership can be immediately suspended or terminated by Dr. Sulaiman Al Habib Pharmacies at any time if, Dr. Sulaiman Al Habib Pharmacies in it’s reasonable judgement find that a Member:
- has breached these terms and conditions;
- has behaved fraudulently;
- has supplied false or misleading information to Dr. Sulaiman Al Habib Pharmacies; in this case, the Member will lose all the acquired benefits and any right of use.
- The member may, upon their wishes, deactivate their Lakum membership through Dr. Sulaiman Al Habib Pharmacies customer service desk or Dr. Sulaiman Al Habib Pharmacies smart mobile application or Dr. Sulaiman Al Habib Pharmacies website.
Responsibility
Dr. Sulaiman Al Habib Pharmacies is not liable for any direct or indirect consequences linked to any malfunction; nevertheless, it will do its best to keep all the member’s acquired benefits.
Dr. Sulaiman Al Habib Pharmacies is also not liable for any direct or indirect consequences linked to any fraudulent use or non-accordance use with these terms and conditions.
Terms and Conditions Modification or Cancelation
Dr. Sulaiman Al Habib Pharmacies reserves the right to modify or cancel some or all of these terms and conditions.
Dr. Sulaiman Al Habib Pharmacies can cancel, withdraw or alter Lakum program, including these terms and conditions, or any Lakum membership, at any time without prior notice.
General Terms
These terms and any disputes or claims arising out of, or in connection with, its subject matter or formation (including non-contractual disputes or claims) are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The Lakum Program is operated by the Middle East Pharmacies Company.
